Why Give to the Sisters of St. Benedict
of St. Paul's Monastery?
Your financial support enables the Sisters to continue and to expand the ministries flowing from the rhythm of this monastic community:
work, prayer, learning, and renewal.
Coupled with the exceptional hospitality of these Benedictine women and their vision, your generosity extends a tradition of Benedictine wisdom that stretches over 1500 years. |
The Benedictine Center, located within the monastery, provides education and retreat opportunities to adults seeking spiritual renewal. It also sponsors an innovative professional development program for church ministers. |
The Ministry of Moms Sharing (MOMS) is a national initiative creating a vital support network for mothers and other child caregivers through educational programs, retreats, leadership training, and publications. |

The iLLUMINARE Project provides experienced Church ministers with intentional, systematic and ongoing spiritual, pastoral, professional and personal formation that nourishes and sustains their commitment to excellent ministry. |
Maple Tree Childcare Center, located on the grounds of St. Paul’s Monastery, is a quality childcare center in a Christian pre-school environment that was created in response to a lack of childcare options in the area. It currently serves 70 children. |
The Cloister Gift Shop is an outreach ministry of the Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Paul's Monastery, enriching the personal and spiritual lives of monastery guests. |
| |
Sisters also work outside of the monastery at
St. Therese Homes in New Hope and Oxbow Lake, facilities dedicated to graduated care for elders. Others serve as parish ministers, teachers, and nurses. |
